Bring your stream into your Discord.

Before you start

  • Use a Twitch channel with Premium access. The Discord integration is gated during beta.
  • Connect a Discord server you can manage, authorize Bagel and grant the permissions needed in its chosen channels.
How it works

Connect a server, then choose its channels.

  1. Connect with Premium

Sign in with Twitch on a Premium channel. Add Bagel to an existing Discord server, or create a server from Bagel’s template.

  2. Pick channels and roles

Choose where go-live posts, clips, welcomes and staff logs belong. Configure the voice hub, ticket panel and roles for your server.

  3. Enable the features you need

Turn on the Discord module and save your server settings. Each connected server keeps its own channels, roles and feature switches.

Good to know

Keep stream posts and community tools together.

Go-live and clip posts
A go-live post announces the stream and is edited when it ends. Clips from !clip and Twitch can land in the configured clips channel.
Private support tickets
Members click a panel to open a private ticket with staff. Configure staff roles, an archive destination and transcript saving for your ticket desk.
Temporary voice rooms
Joining the voice hub creates a personal room with Lock and Unlock controls. Empty temporary rooms are deleted.
Roles you choose
Automatic roles assign the configured Member role on join. Twitch moderator, VIP and subscriber roles are not automatically synced by Bagel.

Discord is currently restricted to Premium channels during beta. Server access and the bot’s channel permissions are required for setup and delivery.

FAQ

Setup questions.

Is the Twitch Discord bot available on the free plan?

The Discord integration is currently a Premium beta feature. A channel must have Premium access to configure and use it.

Do I need to create a new Discord server?

You can connect an existing server or create one from Bagel’s template. Each connected server keeps its own configuration.

Can Bagel announce when I go live?

Yes. Enable go-live posts and choose the destination channel. The post is edited when the stream ends. You can also allow or deny Twitch categories for announcements.

Does it automatically sync Twitch subscribers and moderators?

Bagel creates or adopts roles during setup but does not sync Twitch moderators, VIPs or subscribers into them. Assign those roles yourself. The automatic role feature gives new members the configured Member role.

What does the ticket feature do?

It posts a panel that members click to open a private channel with staff. You can limit open tickets per member, archive closed tickets and save transcripts to the ticket log channel.

Connect your stream’s Discord community.
